Friendly Visiting


A visit from a volunteer provides company, conversation, and companionship.

What is the Friendly Visiting service?
	A volunteer will visit a person to provide companionship on a one-to-one basis. This could include a visit to the person's home, a walk together, or possibly a visit to a restaurant for a cup of tea or coffee. The visit would ideally be for 45 minutes to one hour in duration.

Who can use the Friendly Visiting service?
	The Friendly Visiting service is available to seniors (60 plus) and the physically challenged.

What fees will I have to pay for this service?
	There is no fee for this service.
